Tuner and calibration

No song plays here. Sing or hum: the screen shows the note, how many cents off it is, and the range of notes you've held. Press 🎯 Tune again, or play, to go back to the song.

Mic latency

Sing on the clicks (with headphones): after 4 count-in clicks, sing a short "ta" exactly on each of the next 12. This measures the whole delay between what you hear and what the app judges.

Loopback: hold the headphones against the mic, or play through speakers, and stay quiet. The mic hears 10 clicks directly; this measures the audio system alone.

Settings

Mic latency offset 60 ms

Kept per microphone. Measure it in 🎯 Tune, or set it by ear: raise it if the trail lands to the right of notes you sang in time, lower it if it lands to the left.

On-pitch tolerance ±50 ¢ Fold the ball to the note's octave

Octaves always count as hits. Folding also draws the ball next to the note, so a low voice on a high part still shows where it sits.
